Donald spotted these Green Longhorn moths flying about in his Bournemouth garden on 27/04/24.

Having not noticed them before he first thought they were beetles, but after a few attempts at photographing them, which is not easy, he was able to see they were tiny moths. They can sometimes be seen in big numbers dancing above foliage in sunshine.
